The Wood Spirit is our interpretation of the age-old folklore, which would have you believe that the woods do have eyes, and that they are alive! The Wood Spirit is fabled to be a protector and keeper of women and children and men of kind heart. They are creatures that take on many forms. They are always present but rarely seen. Above all, they are companions.

These sticks are selected from the forest based first on soundness and integrity, and secondly on uniqueness of color, shape and balance. I carve my walking sticks from Maple, Buckeye, Diamond Willow or whatever I find and like at the time.
